Our unionization ceremony will be held at the House of Targ. The address is 1077 Bank St, Ottawa, ON K1S 3W9.

A limited number of parking spots are available in the small lot on the northeast corner of Bank and Sunnyside, directly adjacent to House of Targ. There is also an underground lot down the street at Lansdowne.

If you are drinking, or partaking in other fun things, we please ask that you do not drive home.

Given the continued presence of COVID in our communities, we are asking for your help in making this event as safe and accessible as possible. We ask that all guests take the following safety precautions before attending:

Please mask up in public for a few days prior to the event.

If you haven’t already, please update your COVID booster shots.

Please test no earlier than 24 hours prior to the event.

If you test positive, we love ya, but please stay home!

Unfortunately, House of Targ is not wheelchair accessible. There is one narrow staircase with a railing down into the venue and there will be plenty of folks to help out if anyone may need assistance with the stairs.

The event will begin at 5:00pm and our ceremony will begin at 6:30pm. At 8:30pm the reception will begin, and more guests will arrive to join us in gyrating our booties synchronously to pleasant, rhythmically-organized noises until exhaustion.

House of Targ will be catering their delicious pierogi menu. We suggest due to the timing of the event that you eat a meal or something significant prior to arrival to keep you going until dinner.
